Transmission leak

Post by hambone » Sun Mar 04, 2007 5:42 pm

There is seepage coming from the side of the transmission behind the CV in the area Bentley calls the "final drive side cover". I've studied the drawings and procedures, but they've combined so many different jobs I'm not sure what to do.
It must be a leaking oil seal, but which one? Is this a driveway job? If anyone has advice I'd appreciate it.
