How a car transmission works!

Old is good. This is pretty neat. I had never thought of gears as related to levers...so simple. This is the best explanation of a transmission I have seen. Colin may cringe at some shifting shown here, but it's a real kick. Cars are great.

I will look at it later, but yes, levers. When you are ready for synchronizers . . . .
