That is a nice look, John. I'd clearcoat it to protect that nice finish.

I like(d) the natural magnesium look. Sandblasted and clearcoated to prevent magnesium's sacrificial patina:

Ooops - just read the instructions on the can of Hammered Rustoleum I used and is says to not use primer. I did use primer so if this flakes off, I'm an idiot. Typical me - never read instructions. :geek:
