Accelerator Cable

Post by hambone » Mon Feb 09, 2009 1:55 pm

Perhaps I'm being hasty, but I noticed last night (before I broke the trouble light bulb) that the cable, after coming out of the tube, seems to ride slightly on the upper transaxle case. Should I just bend the tube slightly to give the cable additional clearance?
It also may be a combination of encrusted dirt up there and the trans jacked slightly higher for engine removal.
I'll know more tonite after I get a new bulb.

Yes, do what is necessary for a very happy accelerator cable.

Kinda a rudimentary question I know but I figured I'd ask before I go bendin' stuff.

That's what I thought about taking apart my engine fan. Whoops! Guess I should have asked.

Keep the questions coming. For every exchange here is read by hordes of lurkers that then pass the humility of seeking and the wisdom of replies along like ripples of knowledge through the space/time continuum.
What did you put in my coffee?
