help!

Post by griffeyfans99 » Mon Jun 11, 2007 10:30 am

I am reassembling my 2.0 type IV and I have one mysterious piece of engine tin. I think it came out when my friend was helping me pull the fan shroud or the one of the heater boxes? I am not sure where it goes because I didnt see it come off. The first two pictures on the link are it front and back:

If anyone can help me find where this goes I would really appreciate it!

That goes in front (front is front) of your cylinder head. Can't remember which side.

Right front intermediate tin, that is the preheater duct opening for the preheater control valve.

If you do not have the preheater duct and original air filter, you need to block that opening and the one in the front tin to help engine cooling.
