Genuine Porsche Taco Plate in a Type 4 Bus
I bought a beautiful genuine Porsche oil sump cover plate for my new ED Type 4 engine; it is so bling. But tonight I discovered it doesn't fit with the stock length dipstick. Let me apologize right now in the event Ferdinand is rolling over in his grave for cutting this dipstick. Es tut mir leid.

Off with it's head!
Did you buy the little cover that goes with it? It protects the sensor and hold the wire in place

I tried one. Never could get it to seal. Still have it with the proper cover but went back to the original.

The two rubber cone-shaped grommets? Yes, but I can't figure out how they sit on the sender?Bleyseng wrote:Off with it's head!

Re: Genuine Porsche Taco Plate in a Type 4 Bus
I showed you the back side of the plate but there is a cover that protects the wire connection.
