What'cha doing about rocker geometry? Is it an issue with a stock rebuild? That part is Greek to me.

Don't really have to deal with that for stock, thankfully.
Hey the DH on #3 is higher! So it's a perfect storm of mismatch - larger DH for the smaller chamber.

Find an old dissy for The early oil cooler location engines. It'll have the 3* retard for #3. Colin will want you to make it right though.

Bill I have a '68 vacuum only dist. that I've been using for years, does the trick. What can be done about that #3 retard? Before I had a tower cooler, but now have the doghouse.

The # 3 retard was to keep the temps down in # 3 because of the tower cooler blocking cooling air. If the dissy is the specified for the tower cooler location You don't have to do anything. If your running a head temp sensor you might try a newer one without the #3 retard, see how it likes it.

This one seems to be happy.
