I recently took my bus out and forgot to check the pressure in the 1 rear tire that leaked and it rewarded me by blowing out. I just got back from getting 2 new RA08's installed on the back....The tire man made a comment on how heavy these tires were for their size and was blown away by the D load rating, he said that meant "damn stout tire"! After driving home, the bus seems to like them just fine and I know my confidence level is way up.
Too bad they only had 2 in stock, will have to make the trip to Greensboro to see the Dead with the 2 old front tires......
Take care,
Rick

Better on the front than anywhere else. Be sure to give them a toas. . . toke for their successful journey.

Let me repeat what the Colinmeister just said: new tires go on the back, old tires go on the front.
Yes, I know that it is counter intuitive, but it is much safer that way.

Well just an update, the old tires didn't make it....Well one did as the spare....Had a front tire blow out on the way to the Dead and stopped at Walmart and got 2 new Goodyears for the front. They had no LT tires that were suitable. Fortunately the delay only cost us a little lot time....

Agreed, Hankooks rock! I replaced all four of the crappy balloons the PO had on it and WOW what a difference!

Mine are holding up nicely, after about 2 years of being on the bus- but I've only put about 3,000 miles on them in that time.
