Got some used Konis from the Samba classifieds. How do I test them? One moves incredibly stiff on opening and smooth on closing. The other Moves pretty smoothe both ways but loosens up right at the end of compression, beginning of expansion. Rebuilding costs $130. New from BD costs $100. The guy said they were in working condition.

Are you able to feel the adjustment parts engage when you compress the shock and THEN rotate? How many rotations are you getting. How many licks to the center of a tootsie roll pop?
You just solved my problem! No one said to COMPRESS and then rotate in the responses I got on Samba. They now both work great!

They have 4 turns for adjustment. And they do engage.

WOOHOO!!! :blob:
