Caliper bleed sequence

Post by Psucamper » Wed Dec 18, 2013 8:54 am

The later model buses are fitted with dual caliper bleed vents. One at the top,the other at the caliper bottom. Is there a preferred sequence to follow or does it not matter?
Why is there a bottom one at all? Is it to ensure that all air is bled out?

It is a nice rinse port, but does not serve bleeding. I think these are identical castings L/R so the bottom bleeder just happens to be the top bleeder on the other side of the car.

Yep, just one interchangable casting . Bleed the top nipple to let any air out.
