let's send some good vibes Belle Plaine's way

Post by whc03grady » Tue Aug 03, 2010 4:49 pm

I just saw this on facebook and figured two things. First, Belle Plaine is probably a little bit too busy to come here and say it himself, and second, the IAC crew is probably the best crew in the world for sending out good vibes when needed. Try to get through it without tearing up, I couldn't.

I offer prayers and thoughts for strength in beating the cancer, and any thing Jen and I can do in support.

Oh fuck. All my best wishes to you and your little Emma. Children are strong. Children are resilient. And they are so very small. You have entered a parent's worst nightmare. Together, you can beat this thing and look forward to better days together. Hopeful.

Peace and understanding for the yesterdays...

Strength, courage, and clarity for the todays.

Prayers and best wishes for the tomorrows...

My heart weeps for the pain of my brother.

My blessings are more clear to me in the light of this news.

May this time become a memory that empowers and unifies.

My being is sending waves of white light out to enfold you and yours in love and healing.

Amen.
So it all started when I wanted to get better gas mileage....

Wow. I just logged onto the forum to announce our family's situation and now you've all have got me tearing up with your positive energy. Your good vibes surely are working because this morning the doctors were able to remove her breathing tube and they took her off of the sedation medicine without complication. Keriann and I were treated to a smile and a hug each. So we are through this first phase anyway. I assume that we will leave the ICU soon and begin chemo in the next few days.

Thank you to each and every one of you careing folks for your thoughts. I am very proud to be a member of this community. I'm sure that you can relate with me for the joyful innocence of a ACVW vacation that Emma and my family got to experience only a few weeks ago. I rely on this forum to help me keep "Spiderman" in tip-top escape pod condition for surely we will take many more vacations in our bus.

I am humbled and grateful for your love and concern for my family.
