Anything new? It's been a while.
I like to dredge up the past.

I wrote all my good material in another thread. Damn.

Peter
San Francisco
Born on an Air Force Base
Moved to Nebraska, Alaska, Virginia, And Hawaii
Came to California for College and never found a good reason to leave.

I make video games.
Occasionally I do woodworking stuff.
Even more occasionally I work on my VW.

VW was purchased from my Aunt and Uncle while I was in College
Once I changed a clutch by myself, I was hooked.
I've gone through a few life changes.
The Bus was always there with me.
It's become a friend

When I'm not driving my bus, I'm riding a BMWGS motorcycle.
I like my cars german, flat-cylindered, and just a little ugly.

See you on the road.

Uncle ghia. aunt ghia. aunt rabbit, grandad had evrythng, but favored dune buggies . My grandad had a vw shop in the late 60's to mid 70's. My uncle took over the shop from him and worked on aircooled Vw's in south georgia till they slowly disappered. First time I rode I a bus was in Costa Rica and that was it. Uncle Terry and my cousin Jesse helpe me rebuild a 72 van. Still got it and and a77 westy. Buses consume my life, dreams, and family plans. Around here my family calls it "bus madness"

Hmmmmm.............

Kinda interesting to go back in time and see that some folks have sort of disappeared. Makes one wonder why.

You are only 10 miles from me, we need to hook up and compare notes. Maybe not, the last IAC poster I had contact with disappeared a few months ago. Gads, might I have BO?

If I was the slasher type then, I would now have two Busses, eh my dear Watson? No wait, Mr. Green, in the Study, with a pipe wrench.

Strange to read about girlfriends we know are gone and kids who are no longer kids. Russell's sons have grown into young men and that tiny Eva is now how old? Heart skipped a beat there when I read Colin's reference to the blue bus. It was alive and well . . .
