"please allow me to introduce myself...."

Post by ZeppVW » Thu Jun 07, 2007 6:41 pm

So this is my first post and I thought this would be a good spot to get to know some people.

I'm from Ohio but moved to Eugene a little over a year ago. Unfortunately my '73 Westy didn't get to come with me.....he's still sitting in Ohio until I get the funds to bring him out here (which will hopefully be VERY soon!!).

Anyway, I miss my bus and would love to hang out with some bus folk here in Eugene sometime!!

If you're around, give me a holler!

Take it easy,
Michele

Welcome Michele! Love your avatar - I used to have a blacklight poster of that exact image in high school!

Cha, velcome, new blood good, I have my Eugene history, in fact, it be a namesake. Bicycle roadkill experiences on the riverside bike trails when it was my commute from Springfield to Harry's on the Canal fine dining and Sunday champagne (probably sparkling wine) brunch. Outside the dining view windows was a lone tree and you could see the huge carp in the canal shading themselves under it. I always wanted to go carp fishing during brunch hours, violently eviscerating caught carp to the horror of the brunch crowd.

But I'm much better now.

My '62 ghia days.

Looking forward to meeting you.

Hey there Michele, I am from Ohio, where did you come from there?

Unfortunately a very mean person deleted all of my pics and music off of my hard drive so I don't have a good pic of my bus. But, I did find one pic at a campout on the Ohio Valley Tribe site so i've posted that if you wanna see it. It's not a very good pic though.
