My friend Stuart Zickiefoose worked there for a bit. It was a nice company with what he told me about.

I enjoy their honesty in listing prices on such a glassy and beautiful web page. It's unusual to see prices that high right up front on an advertisement like that.

I wonder how their one-way rentals work…

My son worked there with the previous owner as now they try to be Gowesty of the North catering to the Amazonians who buy/want/have $45,000 vanagons. A friend needed a rebuilt engine for his vanahon kid hauler and just didnt have the $15,000 for it from them. Found him a good low mile take out 2.1that he is installing for $300!

Ha! I just saw this place on the train from SeaTac to downtown. Lots of bus/van action in the lot. Wanted to stop and sniff around, but the train had other ideas...

I am going to pay them a call when I am in Seattle. I did not like the honking huge carburetors on the air-cooled engine. I will present to them a stock fuel injected experience and then make them call Vladimir (luftwagon) for the MegaSquirt alternative.

I hear they will rent out your bus/vanagon camper splitting the fees 60/40 will you. You need to bring your camper upto their snuff to rent it but they do give a discount on any needed repairs.
Hmm, who covers the cost of damage to the camper or the cost of blowing up a engine?

Knowing people as I do, I would never never never rent out my air-cooled VW. These cars are very reactive to drivers with bad driving habits and inattentiveness.

Same here as I lent my Westy to a niece and her BF and they lugged the engine a lot I guess. Three pistons with broken rings later.....new pistons and cylinders..and they were OEM Mahle pistons not crappy ones. So if someone did rent out their Westy Bay or Vanagon be prepared as folks just aren't used to driving a real car. What I have to shift it? I can't drive at 85 mph? I need to pull my 25ft boat too....
