Hey! Traveling around in my buddy Zeke's '87 Vanagon, and having a beer in this great brewery. Any Los Alamos Itinerants around?

I am a little late to this thread, but had you contacted me, I could have roused the contingent.
I LOVE Los Alamos and my campsite up the hill.

Wow! Is your campsite up the hill to Camp May? While in the brewery, where they have really great beers, we were talking to some folks, and asked them if there were any free campsites they knew of. They pointed us to the Camp May road, and we had one of the best campsite of our entire trip (4300 miles). We were perched on the edge of a deep canyon, and had a terrific view of the bridge, and the town of Los Alamos way below. Invariably, everyone we met in that town was really hospitable.

That's wild! That is one terrific spot. I'll bet you also go up in the hills, back outside of Parumph!

It is a gorgeous overview of the world from my lofty perch with errant Volkswagens beneath my feet.
