good deal on type 1 tires

not sure where to put this but at $25 a tire it would be hard to go wrong. 185/65/15

Don't want to start a flame war, so question rather than statement: do the early busses also require a small truck tire (reinforced sidewall) like the later vanagons? If so, this may not be ideal in terms of performance and/or safety.

Aren't 185s a bit wide for type 1s? 155 ideal, 165 compromising.

they are a bit oversized- I wouldn't run them personally but it seems a pretty common size for folks around here
