Site Design Changes
Please excuse the design for a few days.
Unless we shut down the forums temporarily the only way to edit it is live.
thanks

Re: Site Design Changes
Is this Ikea?
It will be interesting to see how this develops, nice work. Didn't even know such a project was in process!
Is Sluggo still the site admin, or did the buck pass?

the link on the site is missing currently, but you can still access it here:
http://itinerant-air-cooled.com/search. ... d=newposts
At one point it just showed all of the most recent posts in historical order. A year or more back it switched and then wouldn't show anything if you weren't logged in first, and now there's a time period when items are no longer considered 'new' and they are dropped off the search.

Hey, that mission statement on the home page could mention the vast technical knowledge available here, not all come for the politix. Part of the Zen experience is fixing it your damn self.

Re: Site Design Changes
So what the heck is the deal with this new trend in low-contrast, white-on-pale-grey-on-paler-grey user interfaces? It's not just here. Eclipse Juno did the same thing. Makes it virtually impossible to see certain useful features.
Though I do note that the spelling of "Font colour" has been corrected in the editing window button bar .

Re: Site Design Changes
The whole thing is kind of hard to read - too bright.
I know it's a work in progress.
