Listening to Steve Earle today. Right now off of 'El Corazon', next it will be off off of 'I Feel Alright'

Just saw then last week, opened for Deadwood Revival @ Sam Bonds, then again Wed. as they were playing outside the Macdonald Theater before Yonder Mountain String Band. Love that washboard. Tonight I'm going to Porland to celebrate Hambone's birthday! :cheers:

just this week i was getting into old dirt road on the walls and bridges album, and found myself asking my children what would john lennon say to this and that. currently its the recent jj cale with eric clapton disc road to escondido, and neil young's greendale.

Haven't heard the new one yet but his other stuff is mostly masterpiece work. "Comes a Time" is one of my favorite records.

just a few cuts early on via radio. our library has it on the shelf today or the 2nd copy gets returned in early may. i think i'm ready for it.. good reminder-heads-up [this online modern library in a super progressive city stuff rocks my world]

Wow! Was going thru some old albums this past weekend and came across Comes A Time!
Now to get a turntable that works........ :pale:

Hey man you can pick up a used turntable at a thrift store for peanuts, and styluses (needles) are still available thru Radio Shack etc. I play records alla time, they still sound good.
