Why don't threads I've read stay marked that way?

Keep it clean, children may be present.

Post by RSorak 71Westy » Mon Jun 11, 2007 10:53 am

Whatever and however the 'puters are supposed to keep up with what's read doesn't work and it's driving me mad.....It works fine on all the forums I'm on except this is one keeps marking stuff I've read and told it to mark read as UNREAD......Anyone have any tips ?
Thanks

I'm not sure what you're saying. It's not showing as read after you read it?

It might have something to do with your cookies. I can't replicate the error.

Has anyone else had this problem?

That's what I'm using too. Still can't replicate it.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I use Firefox.
The only thing I can say is that if I read a topic/thread it shows it as read until there is another reply, then it goes back to unread,,,but this is standard with all forums,,in fact, this forum seems to act just like all other forums,,,oh wait,,there is one difference, it seems to be lacking rude, ignorant replies.

do they get marked as read right after you read them, but when you reopen firefox they are unread? It may be you have the cookies set to remember until you close firefox.
Love your bus.

Or if you read the thread without logging in. It would have no way of knowing it was you who read the post without your being logged in.

Yes exactly I'll can't find mention of that option in the options.
