I'm not sure what you're saying. It's not showing as read after you read it?RSorak 71Westy wrote:Whatever and however the 'puters are supposed to keep up with what's read doesn't work and it's driving me mad.....It works fine on all the forums I'm on except this is one keeps marking stuff I've read and told it to mark read as UNREAD......Anyone have any tips ?

It might have something to do with your cookies. I can't replicate the error.
Has anyone else had this problem?

The only thing I can say is that if I read a topic/thread it shows it as read until there is another reply, then it goes back to unread,,,but this is standard with all forums,,in fact, this forum seems to act just like all other forums,,,oh wait,,there is one difference, it seems to be lacking rude, ignorant replies.

Or if you read the thread without logging in. It would have no way of knowing it was you who read the post without your being logged in.77_Bus_Girl wrote:do they get marked as read right after you read them, but when you reopen firefox they are unread? It may be you have the cookies set to remember until you close firefox.
