I dreamt of my Single Cab last night. Been 3 + years since I have driven it and it waits for fixing. I need to get off my ass and fix it. Engine and brakes. Too many projects and too little time I guess.LiveonJG wrote:I dreamt about my valves last night.

I've had the same bus (it was my first bus) for nearly 11 years now. This Friday, April 20 will be the official day for an eleven year celebration of the good times. I have pictures of this bus in nearly every room and I'm known by this vehicle by most people. I'd say I'm a VW bus enthusiast for the most part- not too hard core.

I'm not afraid of technology. In fact, I love it.
I don't love ACVWs because of their lack of technology. Just the opposite. Some very unique concepts in these. Maybe not unique for the 40's and 50's but certainly for the 60's and 70's. And now.
And something about a bay window bus's looks too...
Plus the way they're such a platform for playing with new and different technologies. How many vehicles are so easy to change engines? With other makes? How many have the body kits like bajas, manx's, kit cars, etc?
ACVWs are just fun. Let your mind wander over the possibilities! Sure, dream about putting a rocket in your bus!
To me THAT's what they're all about...

If it makes you feel better, keep telling yourself that. We understand. You've come to the right place.Whip618 wrote:I am constantly thinking about something new to build or try to improve on, or a way re-machine a part or someplace I haven't been in my bus yet and how much fun it will be to drive there and of course, driving my vw everyday.........................But I wouldn't consider myself a fanatic.
