calif emissions? or not?

Post by lari » Sun Sep 24, 2006 12:56 pm

I was getting some spare parts together so we can be prepared on our next camping trip, and I came across bus depot's tune up kit--it has a lot of the parts I think I need--we will still need some other stuff, and I'm not sure that's the way I'm going to go...BUT looking at the kits I realized I need to know something about my bus
Is it a *California emissions* bus? How do I know?

Things I know about the bus. 1978 Westy. GE engine (75,000 mi), don't know if it's been rebuilt or not. The m-code for the destination was UB, is there anything else in the m-code that would indicate this?
thanks in advance for the help.

Take a look at the drivers side door jamb. There should be a silver sticker that will tell you if it's a federal (Non Catalytic Convertor) or California model.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.
