Gloriously hideous, and best of all, I love the amount of work put into that thing only to discover that it doesn't work. You can see how demoralized the craftsman became in the photographs:
"Can't you clean the top a little?
"No."
"At least take that For Sale sign off the seat."
"No."
"Well clean the windows then."
"No."
"It looks like crap, no one is going to buy it if it looks like you don't care!"
"I don't care."

Guessing this is a scam for $2500.

Edit: Already flagged for removal.

"1968 Volkswagen Westfalia Pop Top Camper, 1600 cc engine, 49,000 miles. I recently made a valve adjustment, carb cleaned and tuned, oil change. It starts first turn of the key and is ready to go. The bus stops very well and does not pull to the right or the left. All of the interior side wood panels were replaced by a local carpenter. Underside of bus has been undercoated with 3M rustproofing. There is room for two adults on the fold out bed, one adult in the upstairs cot as well as one child in the childs cot that goes over the front seats. The bus seats five with seat belts for all five people. Lots of storage space. Clear title, no accidents."

I have decided it is time to sell my deluxe sun roof bus/project. She does not run and drive and is rusty. The motor was been rebuilt 2 years ago but the mechanic said it has low compression in one cylinder. May have bad gas. It has all the seats in ok shape but is missing floor mats. Registration is not current. I can show her after work on weekdays and all day on weekends. Tried to sell for more with no luck. Will need towed. Not worth a lot due to rust just sayin. Fair warning it's from cannon beach and the salt water did a number on the underside. Also no holds as the former so called buyer was a flake. Now reduced. Please call no texting 459-9OO2. for more info or appointment to view. Thank you.

I beg your pardon? Have you EVER actually DRIVEN one of those hideously under-engineered ox carts? You, the engine, your passenger, all over the front axle while the live rear axle just bounds uselessly beneath the tin can rear end?

Low(ish) miles, one-family Type 3 in Montana. The owner (original buyer's grandson) was very evasive about price, eventually admitting he'd "be happy to get $10,000 for it". (Well, I'd be happy to get $10,000 for my toenail clippings, but whatever.)

Type3s and Beetles just don't get the same return as Buses these days. Of course that could change....
