Beautiful Sunset

I drove to a nearby reservoir on Sunday evening and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. I thought you might enjoy it too....

I'm not up on my wetlands vegetation, so I can't say what plant it was. Since you apparently have a good eye, I'll go with, "Why, yes, I believe it is!" :-)

As for the temperature that evening, it was near 50 degrees as the sun set. Chilly, but not unreasonable for this time of year in this part of the world!

Ha! It looks to be. It's a pretty distinctive plant that grows like that in the shallows.

You can harvest the root bulbs certain times of the year if you're into the whole foraging thing.
