I've been into the VW scene going on close to 15 years now and have never heard of this vendor. If their engines were of that high of quality their name would be more known in my opinion. Skeptical.

You'd think that if they'd been around for 30+ years, there'd be some review or mention of them or their engines on the Internet someplace, but I don't find anything. From the pics on their site it looks like they're mostly in the T1/off-road segment...

I'm a little skeptikal as well. My mom lives in the area and I spent my early 20's there and never heard of them. Barrett's was a pretty big and popular spot, so it may have taken the focus away at that time.
