We just put a pair of "No-Flop" GoWesty mirrors on a picky customers van the other day, per her order and request, and she called back an hour later to say they "flopped".

Funny part was that she demanded the GoWesty ones over the ones we can get all day for a third the price from our wholesaler, and when they arrived, they we the exact same ones, just with instructions on using an inch-pound wrench to torque the swivel tension nut. For shits and giggles, we followed the instructions exactly and well, as I said...

Well, it looks like VW might be arranging for the re-manufacturing of some parts.

On the VW Classic Parts website, there's a link to the fresh-air blower for 1303s and 1303 Cabriolets, and it says New Production by Bosch
