I keep going back and forth on this. The first VW I ever went to look at with serious intentions of buying was a green squareback (can't remember which year). It was in probably a little better shape than this one, and they were asking $500. The only problem was that it wasn't running, and I didn't know nearly enough to even begin troubleshooting then. I came by their house and tinkered with stuff I knew nothing about for a few days after work, but ultimately had no success.
I was looking at prices on driveways, and it doesn't look like it would cost an unreasonable amount to put one in--I've been wanting one for a while anyway :king:

Undoubtedly, that was a good 6-7 years ago when I couldn't tell the difference between a fuel injected and a carbureted engine :pale:
