Removing the dash pad.

Mine is dried up and cracked. It is coming off to be either replaced or if it looks nice under there just left as a metal dash. Anyone else get rid of theirs?

I remember one of my cars was like this. I can't find any pics, sorry. It looked pretty good except the VIN was kinda hovering over the metal.

Found a pic kinda showing the dash. This is a previously owned baja. Traded it for my bus.

I took the pad off yesterday. No good. The PO hacked it pretty bad under there.

Russell,

You might try some guys called Interstate Used Parts. I have the good fortune of only being an hour away or so. They're over in the desert (Elsinore, CA) and have a ton of bugs and bug parts. Literally, box cars full of stuff.

They may have a decent replacement if that's what you're after...
