Hiya Bob,

Gotcha.

And while that is not good news, I have heard (seen?) in the last couple of months that quality brake switches were (are?) available somewhere. Dammit, I just wasn't paying enough attention at the time. Double dammit.

Hiya Sly.

Yeeps!

Those EuroMax switches are the one that have been leaking on me - so to speak!

I'd stay away from those guys.

I looked all over the internet. I think they are the only ones available now.
Maybe NOS or junkyard parts? They seem to rarely fail but everything has a lifespan.
I had a Brazilian oil pressure sensor leak out of the seam all over my new engine. Nothing is sacred as long as it LOOKS like a functional part. Someone is going to snake oil hell.

Hiya Bob,

I THINK I may have found the real deal.

Take a look.........................

http://www.vwispwest.com/product.php?is ... 113945515G

These are listed as German with either ATE or FTE as manufacturers. That, at least, is not EuroMax. Whaddyathink? Should I order these guys out?

Just put in the order.

I'll update you on what arrives in the mail.

I'm figuring that anything but EuroMax has to be an improvement.
