According to factcheck.org: “The truth is that only a tiny percentage of home sellers will pay the tax. First of all, only those with incomes over $200,000 a year ($250,000 for married couples filing jointly) will be subject to it. And even for those who have such high incomes, the tax still won’t apply to the first $250,000 on profits from the sale of a personal residence — or to the first $500,000 in the case of a married couple selling their home.” Also, the income stipulation of $200,000/$250,000 does not include profits from sale of the property."

Sooner or later, jointly and severally, America is going to have to wake up to the fact that she is in serious economic trouble. On an ongoing basis, you simply cannot spend more than you earn.

The French, the Brits, the Greeks and the Spaniards are confronting this very fact right now and most of them aren't fighting two wars.

If you graph the national debt from 1776 on, it's like the lightning bolt in AC/DC's logo... sharp upticks every time a GODDAMMED SOCIALIST was in office, followed by sharp decreases every time someone with a white hood and robe were in office.

Graph it and see for yourself.

The thing is, neo-cons will argue that the tax applies to every person, then. Because to them only people who make $200,000 and above should be considered people. The rest are just slaves.

So blatzer posts something wrong, gets called on it, posts something else that is completely unrelated and equally wrong and gets called on it ....

I guess its time to change the subject again, blatzer. Have any more misinformation that you desperately need to share with the world? And is this some kind of therapy for you, or what?
