Unhappy Porsche 911 Owner ~ Update

This is a bummer to watch, but reminds me of why I like older cars. So much less to go wrong. In this section for naughty words:

Complexity bad.
Simplicity good.

Looks like Porsche NA needs to read "The Cluetrain Manifesto" (from 1999!)

"This war will pay for itself."
Paul Wolfowitz, speaking of Iraq.

So the guy followed up and Porsche appears to have made good on his deal:

liked his reading of comments, showing courtesy to his gallery of social media trolls.

with all due respect I was fully triggered by roofrack kyacks also.

forgetting completely my use of a beautifully crafted roof rack built for the 914 I used to go ski with.Yes, nuance point.

good to see his and porsche's resolution. that modern 911s are hilariously complex may just be my own rationalization.. May the retail Gods still sell their platforms of overspilling technologies..
still, the kyacks get me. Clearly a misplaced Cayenne guy?

The kayaks made me think of this guy I saw in Portland a few weeks ago on my way home from work .. who clearly should have bought a Cayenne or Q7.

(yes, that's a new Audi R8 with a roof rack & cargo box)

R8, hmmm.
I think the purist might should just look away. While making sure there are no cup holders sprouting in his own cabin.

Along thread thesis lines my cousin is in some buyer regrety discourse with her Newark DE Subie dealer..
If I had smartphone SKILLS I could click click and paste her the CT fellows story....hmm.
Fare thee well all you new car buyers..

Hey, if I had an extra $140k laying around I'd totally roll an R8...

Since the chances of it happening are essentially nil, I can say things like that. :cyclopsani:

Ahh, the power of the interwebs. Glad Porsche finally did the right thing. They've been having some "issues" as of late. I feel bad for all of the GT3 owners with a brand new car they can't drive for fear of catching on fire.
Chorizo, it's what's for breakfast.
