Hopefully in the next 4 years one of these GOP Supreme Court judges will step down or die and we will rescind the stupid (corporations are a person) ruling and stop the buying of elections. Or the results will be just like in Suriname now.....
I do not doubt that the Koch brothers have an organizational ability that is only being made stronger by what they have learned from the "grassroots" rise of the Tea Party. I despair at the level of dialogue that is likely to come of this presidential election season, but I am doing my part where I can . . . to not shy away from discussions with a broad range of people who have the fortitude to accept a challenge to their beliefs.
I am contributing about five posts a day to the blogs on CBS/Reuters/ABC/NYT/WSJ/LATimes, but Fox News is on to me, they have rejected my every attempt to sign up. I try to get in while the discussion is still young or even be the first post. So far, I am heartened by the people who are pushing back at the Koch/Fox talking points that are deposited like cow pies in the middle of sometimes thoughtful discussions.
