They're out there. Check with Trafton and Craigslist frequently.
Bigfoot probably has what you need but buyer beware with that guy.

Shoulder is coming along. I wish I was 100% because there is so much I would love to be doing on the bus right now. I have not bled the brakes again, but I did drive my Subie today and noticed the brakes in the bus are way better than the Subaru. Funny.

Bob - the whole reason I was working on the brakes was because of junk parts that Bigfoot sent me. He's a SOB in my book.

Is true. I do.

But do know a couple of things.......... the set-ups I have are the real Z-Bed hardware, not Westy or Rivi hardware. A Z-Bed is actually a very specific piece of hardware (it turns the stock third seat into a bed platform in a Transporter) that does not show at all when it is not in use.

And.......I have two sets of Z-Bed hardware. One is in pretty fair shape and I'll be working it over to use in my Bus. The other set has some more problems (nothing unsurmoutable by any means) that need to be worked on/out before they'll be in shape to sell.
I have cancer.

It does not have me.

Hi Dave!
My '71 came with Z-bed hardware, converting my stock rear bench into a not-so-comfortable bed. I sold that hardware and the bench to Mike Gregory of House of Ghia down around the Salem area. He's working on reproducing that hardware for the aftermarket applications.

Just as well too... I hated sleeping on that d@mn thing!

I know you have a folding bed setup... Did you want cabinets, a smaller bed setup with cabinets, or ???

I have that tall Riviera cabinet that goes behind the drivers side bulkhead if you want it. Other wise I'll put it on CL for free as it's just taking up space in the barn.

I'll keep my eyes and ears open for ya. Seems like this stuff is getting harder and harder to come by!

Cheers!
Michael

Woo hoo! If he can repro them, he'll make a mint! Everybody (it seems) wants them, but no one makes them. Good luck to him!

scored a full westy interior tonight!

It's definitely got a unique flair to it. Bought off Shawn H of Camas, WA. Nice guy and he's made it to the last couple Maupins.

Now onto cleaning cleaning and more cleaning.

SCORE!

Right on man! When I get back from my adventures in Eugene I'll swing by and check it out, give you a hand with whatever you need... Regarding the VW of course...
:cyclopsani:

Shawn is a nice guy! I've talked with him a few times via email back and forth... He was actually selling an early westy setup back in June that I was gonna pick up right before the Maupin trip... I never picked it up, so I wonder if you just bought the same one?

I need to post a wanted ad on here... see if it works. Need a 1 piece glass, sans wing window for the drivers rear panel.

Anyway, I might have a line on a generator so I can make it home! We'll see... Hopefully I see you back in Portland after the holidays!

Cheers!
