Thanks Russ just got the knob, the splines/knurls on the inside were stripped out and it wouldn't work (knob spun w/o turning window mech.) till I tightened down the screw....but since my windows turn easily it'll work fine till I find another one. Thanks!

Check your local RV store if you have one. I find the exact same handles at this older RV store near where I work. Cheaper than from a VW parts place and the same thing. I guess the spline size is universal for louver window cranks.
